My husband and I have been married 26 years next month. We married as high school sweethearts.
We have a blended family of (you could say we have 3 children, 4 children or 5 children and all 3 be accurate in one way or another) 4 children we have raised and a total of 5 grandchildren.

We have a daughter married, A son that just recently moved into his own place, a senior in high school and a 10 yr old still at home.
We are an average family that has discussions, disagreements, and yes we have arguments from time to time. We love hard and we still are not perfect by any means. We live life each day with the mindset to do better each day than we did the day before. This keeps us moving forward, but also reviewing each day to find where we can improve.

No life is not mapped out to the point that you cannot move or breath. We move forward in spite of the obstacles that come our way. If we stop to dwell on the situation we end up getting stuck there and that becomes our main focus and then it is all we can see. If we view it as a temporary situation then it is just that and stays within those parameters, then we can still move forward and continue to grow.
Life can happen without you getting stuck in it, but moving with it. Neither life nor time will stop due to a situation. They will both continue to go forward and things will still happen.
If we stop in the situation we dwell in a place of pain, difficulty, sadness, or hurt. Why would we do that to ourselves?
Well this is my first blog attempt. I guess this will be a short event today.
